Situated South of Lake Naivasha, Hell’s Gate National Park is the only walking park in the world. You will have the chance of cycling eight kilometres from the main gate to the gorge and opportunity to view different animals like zebras, gazelles, warthogs, wildebeests and giraffes. The gorge is 16 km long and the whole park is 68km square.
Walking in the park is an endurance test- going up and down the gorge and stepping over the water requires energy and fitness. Other activities a visitor can engage in include rock climbing, and bird watching as the park has more than 100 species of birds.
Other optional activities at an extra fee include; swimming at the Ol Karia Geothermal spa and boat riding at Lake Naivasha.
